The upload limit is 100MB but IDML files are usually a fraction of that.
If you have an IDML file that is that big, it probably means that there are embedded images (images that are pasted directly in the InDesign file rather than placed as "linked images"). Our advice is to always link images rather than embed them so the file becomes smaller and faster to save and you can easily modify the images when they are on disk (eg. if you need to edit them in Photoshop).
We also advise exporting the images so that they are stored only one time in your system. If you have a document translated in 3 languages, you have the images in all 4 documents (the original and 3 languages), and it's a waste of disk space. Also, if you need to change an image, you have to do it just once.
Here is a link of a script that allows you to extract all the images to disk: http://www.kahrel.plus.com/indesign/unembed_images.html
In case you're unfamiliar with installing/running a script in InDesign, you can follow this guide: Installing an InDesign script.
