Getting buy-in for a new tool is not always straightforward, especially when you have translators for 10, 20, or 30+ languages! You need to ensure that:
- The tool solves the challenges you face,
- It is easy for any of your team members to start using, and
- You can convince your manager to obtain the budget.
So, unsurprisingly, one of the most frequently questions I get asked is this: How long will it take to implement and start using Redokun?
Well, it’s incredibly easy to get started with Redokun! There are five steps, and it usually takes 5-10 minutes to start your very first translation project with Redokun.
Translate your design-heavy documents with Redokun
Step 1: Log in to your Redokun account and upload a document.
Don’t worry about extracting the text from the original document by copying and pasting them to a Word or Excel file. Redokun will do that for you.
Step 2: Add target languages and invite your translators.
Select your target languages in Redokun, and invite your translators for each language by adding their email addresses. They will receive an invitation email to activate their accounts and access the project.
Step 3: Let your translators use the Redokun Web Editor to start translating the document.
After activating their account, your translators can begin translating the document online. A feature called Pre-Translate allows you to translate your entire document within seconds by leveraging AI translation to prepare a first draft for them.
Step 4: Check translation progress in Redokun.
There is no need to send emails to your team members or translators to verify the translation status. Log in to Redokun and see the status for each language on the project dashboard.
Step 5: Download the document in the original file format.
Once the translation is completed, you can download the document in the original file format. So now you have the translated files ready to run a final review!
Yes, no more copying and pasting!
As you can see, Redokun helps remove the tedious and manual tasks from your translation workflow by eliminating:
- The need to extract texts by copying and pasting.
- Sending multiple emails to your team members and translators, as you can message each other within Redokun.
- Re-creating the translated document in the original file format it was in, as Redokun will automatically do that for you. What goes in, is what comes out.
Removing these will help your translators focus on the most critical part – high-quality translations!
